They always had the red flag out, but tons of people spent the day hanging out in the waves. Everyone we worked with at the resort was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was so stressed before we left, but they truly made the experience worthwhile.”

After a past relationship ended, Theresa finally asked Rick out, and the rest is history! They got engaged July 2021 at their beach house in Crystal Beach, TX.

After a failed proposal in Cancun (Pro Tip: NEVER check valuables, especially an engagement ring!), Rick proposed in July 2021 at their beach house in Crystal Beach, TX. Rick enjoys fishing and the outdoors in general. Theresa loves spending time with her daughter and reading. As a couple, Theresa shared that they enjoy going out to eat, enjoying bands and a few drinks, and spending time with family.

About the Celebration

The couple explained that they wanted a simple and intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. Theresa & I enjoyed gathering inspiration for the celebration keeping tropical greenery, whites and gold at the forefront of the wedding look. Caribbean Celebrations pulled that off perfectly!

With a golden arch adorned with white roses and monstera leaves, the couple said their vows overlooking the ocean atop a beautiful terrace. Following the ceremony, the couple and their families took time for photos and a casual dinner to celebrate.
