About the Destination Wedding Celebration

Ashley & Jimmie chose Sandals Royal Caribbean for their destination wedding celebration. They loved the traditional Caribbean feel with the flexibility to make their wedding how they envisioned it.

The couple chose a unique look marrying blush for the bridesmaids and bold blue for the groomsmen. The couple stunned in their own ways with Ashley wearing a statement headpiece and a gold sash, and Jimmie in a striking gold & blue leopard suit jacket. The look perfectly blended their two personalities.

Along with Jimmie’s jacket & Ashley’s stunning gown, the groom’s cake really took the cake! No pun intended! The couple found a baker local to Jamaica who crafted an intricate masterpiece based on The Godfather, one of Jimmie’s favorite movies. Along with the cake, Ashley was able to honor her late mother with touches throughout the ceremony and reception. The couple chose to end the night with a fireshow, dazzling their guests!

Ashley found me via Pinterest in early 2018, and reached out to help plan their destination wedding to Jamaica for summer 2019. ⁣She saw this blog post via Pinterest, and reached out for help on the travel portion of their celebration. We quickly hit it off, and got started working together right away. 

It was an absolute joy to work with these two and their guests! All of the business gurus say to define your ideal clients, and these two are it, in the flesh. It was so wonderful watching a year and a half of work, for so many, unfold into the pinnacle event—their beautiful wedding at Sandals Royal Caribbean in beautiful Jamaica. ⁣
