We needed a property that had elements for young children, to accommodate their almost two-year-old daughter, but not be overly kid-centric.

About the Celebration
Lauren & Matthew arrived to buckets of rain in Cancun, but by their attitude you’d never know it was raining on their parade! The couple initially selected a ceremony on the Preferred Deck with reception to follow at the Rooftop, but Mother Nature forced them to change. Their celebration ended up moving to the Ballroom Foyer because the rain was so torrential. The onsite team helped them pivot all locations, and pulled off a stunning event! I spoke with Lauren & Matthew after their wedding, and they both expressed how fantastic the resort wedding team and photographers were in helping them feel comfortable and happy.
Their guests had a fantastic time, despite the weather not cooperating for more of their vacation. All in all, it was a stunning day! You can really sense the love, joy, and excitement of the evening through the lens of Adventure Photo, as they perfectly capture the essence of Mr. & Mrs. Martinez’s beautiful love story!
About the Wedding Decor & Selections
I really enjoyed working with Lauren and her mom for choosing selections for the celebration. Lauren mentioned it was her favorite part of the process. Who can disagree with that! pretty flowers, color swatches, and envisioning it all come to life—what’s not to love?
For their decor, the couple really leaned into a soft, modern look opting for blush roses, eucalyptus, and blue delphinium for the floral arrangements. For the ceremony, they opted for white chairs and a beautiful hexagon arch complimented with florals and gold lanterns.
Lauren and her mom, Melissa, carefully curated table decor, creating beautiful centerpieces of bud vases, cylindrical candles, and eucalyptus. Place settings were marked with blush satin napkins tied in white ribbon.
The couple’s sweetheart table was stunning at the head of the room! They utilized the ceremony florals, candles, and lanterns to create a classic, yet show stopping spot for them to sneak a minute together and watch their family & friends dance the night away.
The ballroom at Dreams Vista is a showstopper itself with an incredible ceiling of twinkle lights! It really made up for them not being able to utilize the rooftop, and help set the ambiance of a magical night.

I wanted everyone to have fun and be able to have a vacation and everyone had the best time!
What was your vision for your wedding celebration? Did we create that for you?
My vision was simple but modern and it turned out exactly as I had dreamed!
