When my travel bestie Megan from Bridie Travel asked if I wanted to team up for Eliza & Connor’s Mexico destination wedding, it was an easy “yes”! They were looking for someone to help bring their vision to life. And once we all connected, it was clear this was a perfect match! Megan handled the travel arrangements for the couple and their guests. While I came on board to manage the wedding planning, design, and timelines. And what a day it turned out to be! From Beach Dreams to a Beautiful Plan B

For Eliza & Connor, the original plan was a romantic beachfront ceremony lined with tiki torches, a fun and festive touch they were both excited about (gotta admit, so was I!). But the weather had other plans. Luckily, the onsite coordinator was ready and shifted everything to the Ballroom Terrace. It turned out to be the perfect Plan B! This outdoor-yet-covered space gave them the fresh air and ocean breeze they’d hoped for while keeping everyone dry. And just like that, the ceremony ended, the skies cleared, and they were able to take those dreamy beach photos after all.

After the ceremony, guests moved up to the Sky Lounge, where the party really kicked off. With string lights overhead, good music in the air, and the ocean skyline behind them, Eliza & Connor danced the night away under the stars. The entire day was a beautiful blend of flexibility, intention, and joy—and it was such a privilege to help bring it all together.
