Hello again to another Monday. How is it the weekends pass by so quickly? There is just never enough family time on the weekends, and the weekdays are too full of work for visiting. Is it difficult for you to find that balance as well? That is something I am definitely working on! Anyway, I’m excited you are here today. I’m sharing more from my trip to Memphis, Tennessee.
Today’s post is a collection of cool spots I enjoyed while visiting this super fun town. I think you would enjoy these spots as well. From entertainment to museums to food, there is so much to be seen in Memphis, Tennessee. Enjoy!
Of course Elvis is everywhere in the city that is the birthplace of Rock N’ Roll. Spend a day at Graceland or just stroll around the city to see statues, like this one at 115 Beale Street, streets, and more in his honor.
Sun Studio is another must stop spot in Memphis. Explore where Rock N’ Roll was first recorded!
The National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel is an absolute must when visiting Memphis. Spend a few hours here, you won’t regret it!
The Orpheum Theatre is one of my favorite spots in Memphis. Whether you want to catch a concert or Broadway show, or even just pop in for a peek, it is worth stopping by to see the 1920’s era glitz & glamour!
You can’t visit Memphis without having delicious food! Head down to the alley adjacent to The Peabody for some of the best B-B-Q around at Charles Vergos’ Rendezvous. The charcoal style barbecue is some of the best I’ve ever had!
Last but not least, head down to the Mississippi River for a walk around one of the gorgeous parks, a cruise along the river in a paddlewheel boat, or just to sit and admire the scenery.
