Las Vegas: An Itinerary

Last spot on the agenda for my month of itineraries is Las Vegas. It isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m always up for a Vegas vacation. There are so many amazing things to see and do in and around Las Vegas. I’ve put them all together for a variety of adventure for a Las Vegas itinerary.

Las Vegas: An Itinerary

Day One

Check In at Hotel
Check in to your hotel, and great ready for a fabulous adventure! I love the Bellagio for its beautiful rooms and amazing views. But anywhere along the Strip is a great location!
Hit the Strip

Drop off your bags, and hit the Strip! Try your hand at blackjack at the lavish casinos, enjoy a cocktail overlooking the famous fountains, or just people watch as you walk along this famous street.

Day Two

Neon Museum
Visit famed neon signs of the past at Las Vegas’ Neon Museum. Catch a glimpse of Lady Luck, Sassy Sally’s, and the old Moulin Rouge sign. You can also visit at night to see some of the lights shining in their former glory.
Paris Eiffel Tower
Skip the restaurant, but head to the top for beautiful views of the city and beyond. Enjoy the architecture of the casino while you’re at it, and take a stroll around a Parisienne  setting.
The High Roller
Keep with the heights, and head over to the Linq Hotel for a ride around the High Roller. Enjoy a cocktail, or reserve your own pod with full bar and a party like a high roller.
Bellagio Fountain Show
Enjoy a free show at the Bellagio, perhaps the most famous in Vegas. Hear great music, and watch waters come alive in dance.
Show
No Vegas vacation would be complete without a show. Catch a concert, a Cirque du Soleil show, or even a Broadway production.

Day Three

Valley of Fire
Rent a car, and enjoy a day outside of the city lights. Head north out of town to the Valley of Fire and immerse yourself in Mother Nature. See Aztec sandstone, rock formations, and even ancient petroglyphs. Pack a cooler to make a long morning of it so you can enjoy hiking.
Hoover Dam
Take the long way back, and make your way to the famous Hoover Dam. Stand in two places at once, and be amazed at this man-made marvel.
Boulder City
For the last stop of the day, enjoy some time in Boulder City. Grab a good meal, search for a quirky treasure at the many antique shops, and keep an eye out for big horn sheep.

Day Four

Last Minute Gambling + Head Home
Try your luck one last time on the slots or roulette wheel. Don’t be mad if you walk away empty handed before heading home.
OR
Extend Your Trip for a Tour of the Grand Canyon

If you’re still up for adventure extend your stay another day. Start with a helicopter ride from Boulder City where you’ll be flown over the beautiful Grand Canyon. Touch down at the bottom of the canyon, and enjoy a pontoon boat ride along the Colorado River. From there, you’ll fly to the Hualapai Indian Reservation for a walk across the Skywalk where you’ll hang in the balance over the Grand Canyon.
