Happy Thursday friends! I hope your week is going well. Per usual these days, it has been crazy around here. But that’s not what we are here for. Today, I’m continuing sharing our trip to New York City. While there, we popped into Grand Central Station for a quick visit, mostly to see the main areas ceiling installation.

Grand Central was built in the late 1800s so it is full to the brim with rich history, and one could spend hours just exploring it! There are numerous platforms & tracks, a dining concourse, shopping, including a holiday market, and more. For our visit, we just took a quick look at the main concourse, with a quick peep out to some of the train platforms.
There is so much beauty to take in just in the main concourse. I enjoyed the beautiful celestial ceiling, golden clock, mail box, ticket drops, and box office, and the incredible stonework. The intricacies of buildings designed and built so long ago always astonish me!

There is truly so much to see and learn about Grand Central Terminal, aka Grand Central Station, and this is just a quick peek inside. I’m already planning a full tour and perhaps a train ride from Grand Central to Connecticut on my next visit to New York City! Should be a beautiful ride!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend!
